Clare County Council is currently progressing Section 2 of the West Clare Railway Greenway between the towns of Ennis and Ennistymon. Public Consultation 2 was held between the 10th of February 2023 to the 3rd of March 2023.

The purpose of Public Consultation 2 was to provide an update on the Options Assessment Process and to present the Route Corridor Options to the public. This information will be used by the design team to identify the Emerging Preferred Route Corridor with a view to minimising, where possible, the impacts of the project on the surrounding environment and communities.
